Yes! This barbershop event is for the whole family. But if you want a weekend away without kids, then that’s OK too. 😉

Cabins require a two-day rental minimum. If you are only able to join us for one overnight, you can either share a cabin with someone with a two night reservation or you can make a reservation in the lodge hotel outside of our group block.

We recommend for you to bring your food for the weekend. The cabins do have a small but fully-furnished kitchen equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, pots, pans, and eating utensils.

There is a restaurant inside the lodge. Outside of camp, there are a few small restaurants or stores 10-20 minutes away by car.

All reservations require an advance deposit payable by major credit card. This is between you and Burr Oak State Park.

Check in is 4pm.
Check out is 10am.

September 1st is the deadline (but sooner is better).

We need to uphold our commitment to the state park facility to financially guarantee a minimum number of rented cabins. We ask that you do your best to honor the booking commitment. If you do need to cancel, please do so before September 1st so that someone can take your place to avoid penalties.

According to the state park, their cabin rental cancellation policy is: “Room and cabin reservations may be modified or canceled up to 7 days prior to your arrival; after that date, the deposit is non-refundable.” But for Harmony in the Hills, we ask for you to make final plans by September 1, 2021.

There is no registration cost for the Harmony in the Hills event.

You do, however, need to make a reservation for a cabin with Burr Oak State Park. The cost for a cabin is approx $159 per night with a two night minimum. You will make this arrangement directly with Burr Oak State Park. See the Registration page.

Burr Oak State Park does not allow smoking inside or within 30 feet of any building. This includes no smoking on the screened porch of the cabins. Please be courteous to others.

Because it’s been too long since we’ve been able to gather with barbershoppers in large groups! We’ll have a great time seeing friends, singing by the fire, enjoying a beverage, and having fun.

Probably, but that planning is still in progress. Maybe a tag contest, a horseshoe tournament, group hike, group dinner, etc. Send your ideas.
